Planting Bulbs

We are helping to make Brimhall a more beautiful place!  Second grade is in charge of the inner courtyard.  Today each class planted bulbs in the court yard.  We talked yesterday about what a bulb is and why you plant it in the fall.  Ask your child to tell you about what we talked about!  We are excited to see our flowers pop up and bloom in the spring!

We also read a great book by Kate Messner called, Over and Under the Snow.  We read about different animals that hibernate during the winter.  See if your child can retell the story to you!
