Geo Towns

Today we finished working on our "Geo Towns." Students planned out a small town and made a map on a grid. Then they chose different 3D shapes to make in to buildings. They worked hard and did a great job!

Mill City Museum Field Trip

We had a great time at Mill City today! We had time to look around the museum and do a scavenger hunt. 

The kids were so proud of themselves for working together and putting the big block puzzle together!

We learned about how water can be a powerful source of energy. See if your child can remember the phrase we learned! ("Falling water equals power.")

We had time in the water lab to explore. Ask your child about the four different stations. 

We went upstairs to the observation deck. Everyone did such a good job out there!

We ended with a special "Flour Tower" tour. Ask your child about all the things that they learned today!

Maker Stations

Today in library Ms. Zbacnik had six different "Maker Stations" for us to try! It gave everyone a chance to work together and be creative! What a fun experience! Ask your child about it!

Selfies!

Today we started working on a project! Part of it includes each student drawing a selfie of themselves. We will do a writing piece that goes with it. Next week Ms. Zbacnik will help us do a media piece with it! So today we had a little fun and I let the kids take a selfie with my phone. I love them!
