Read-In

Today was our Read-In party! Students were able to bring in a stuffed animal if they wanted. They could choose where they wanted to sit and read. Everyone did a great job! This is a fantastic class of readers! We will do at least one more before the end of the year!

Bunco!

This morning we played Bunco! Unfortunately it didn't work to play with our fourth grade buddies. Mr. Engel's daughter was sick and he wasn't able to be at school today. It worked out better to stay in our classroom and play.  We still had a great time!

Our first Bunco winner of the morning!  If you don't know, ask your child how someone can win the special Bunco trophy!

Nutcracker Ballet

This morning was our field trip to see "The Nutcracker!" It was a beautiful performance! The kids enjoyed hearing the music that we have been listening to in class and in music class with Mrs. Liadova and Mrs. Way-Johnson. Our favorite part was seeing Sophia dance as an angel! We had a great time!

Today. . .

Today we were able to watch the 6th grade concert rehearsal.  We won't be able to see them perform tomorrow because we will be at "The Nutcracker." Mrs. Liadova was kind enough to allow us to sit in on their rehearsal today.  They did a wonderful job!

The other day we finished up our geography books.  Ask your child to show you his/hers tonight and talk about what he/she knows about geography!

Today we worked on a special art project to go with crazy sock day on Friday! We designed shoes and socks with geometric patterns. 

Special Games!

Today we went down to Mrs. Brown's room. Our fourth grade friends shared their games and puzzles that they made! Each game and puzzle went along with their non-fiction animal book that they shared with us last week. It was fun to play the games and put the puzzles together. The puzzles had cool cause and effect facts on them. The fourth graders worked hard and did a great job! It was fun to share this with them!
