Good Books!

Today one of our classmates brought in the sequel to the book, Journey.  We enjoyed reading it!  We are talking about beginning, middle and end in a story.  We are also continuing to making connections with everything that we are reading! These are great things that you can do when you read with your child!

Yesterday we started a new series, "Mercy Watson, by Kate DiCamillo.  Kate DiCamillo is one of my favorite authors.  She has written so many good books!  We will read quite a few of hers this year!  I told the class that we are building up for me to reveal and read to them one of my absolute favorite books!  Stay tuned!
