We have also been practicing time by "planning backwards." For example I might say, "You are going to meet your friend at the movie theater at 2:30. It takes you 15 minutes to get there. You need to walk your dog before you go. It takes 10 minutes to walk the dog. What time do you need to start walking the dog so that you can leave for the movie on time?
