We had a surprise fire drill this morning! Everyone did a great job!
We have been working on visualization in literacy. Today I read a short excerpt from Charlotte's Web that described the barn in the story. Afterwards students went back to their desks and drew a picture of what they thought the farm looked like. We shared the pictures when everyone was done. It was so cool to see how everyone imagined the barnyard a little differently!
We finished the fourth Mercy Watson book today and will begin the fifth one on Monday!
Finally we ended the day with some brain game time!
