Door Decorating Contest

February is "I Love to Read" month! One of the activities that Brimhall is doing is having a door decorating contest based on a book.  We did ours after the book, Telephone. The kids did a great job creating their birds! Stop by and check it out if you get a chance!

 

Also, today in literacy we talked about these vocabulary words: government, duty and election.  See if your child can tell you what these words mean and share an example.

In math we are continuing to work on fractions. We played a game today called "Fraction Top-It." The game helps to reinforce the concept of equivalent fractions.  See if your child can name a few fractions that are equal, such as 1/2 = 2/4.
