Today. . .

Today we did our final switching for science.  The kids went to Mr. Nelson's room and learned about seed dispersal.  Then they went to Mrs. Hinderer's room and learned about bulbs.  They are bringing home a bulb that they can plant!  Ask your child which way the bulb should be planted.  They will know if they were listening to Mrs. Hinderer!

We also finished up our iSave project.  Ask your child about the apps that they created to help take better care of the Earth.  They have some very clever and creative ideas!

We read another version of Cinderella.  Today we read the Korean version.  Ask your child to compare and contrast this version with the traditional American version.

Tomorrow is our field trip to Como Zoo!  Please make sure that your child is dressed for the weather!  We also talked about how we are going on this field trip with the purpose to learn more about plants.  It will be a fun time!

Finally, if you haven't already looked at it, check out Ms. Zbacnik's blog for the link to our ebook on our animal reports!  Everyone worked so hard and did a fabulous job!  They will be bringing home their full reports with all of their other portfolio work at the end of the year.
