Commuity Leaders

In preparation for our field trip tomorrow to City Hall, we have been talking about community leaders in social studies. Today we talked about how people in the community can ask community leaders to make changes in the community. Students looked at a picture of a park that is run down and needs to be fixed up. They worked with a partner to design a sign with something that they could ask the city council to do to make the park better. They had great ideas!
