Literacy Time

Today in literacy we reviewed prefixes.  We talked about root words and how a prefix comes before the root word and changes the meaning.

We also talked about cause and effect.  We read a story called, The Boy Who Cried Alien. They had time to discuss with a partner some of the different examples of cause and effect in the story. Ask your child what examples of cause and effect they heard in the story.
