An Olympic Visitor!

This morning former Brimhall student, Lee Stecklein came to visit us and show us her silver medal!  She is a member of the USA Olympic Women's Ice Hockey team.  Here are a few things we learned:

At 19 years old, she was the youngest member on the team.
She started playing hockey in first grade.  
The USA hockey team is 20 or 21 people.  
At least part of the medal is real silver, but not the whole thing.
She wasn't able to be at the opening ceremonies, but was able to attend the closing ceremonies.
